-Golden Gai (Very cool area with little unique bars- Cash Only- Great photo opp)

-Golden Gai is a small pocket of narrow alleys lined with eccentric shanty bars where you can drink shoulder to shoulder with Japanese businessmen, but choose a foreigner-friendly bar. There are whispers Golden Gai may disappear before the 2020 Olympics, so now is the time to go.

Shop at Donki/ Don Quijote Akihabara

Don Quijote is actually a chain of stores that selling almost everything, sometimes at a discounted price, and Akihabara is a branch store of it. What makes Don Quijote stands out because it sells from groceries (sweets, drinks, snacks, etc.) to cosmetics, piercings (and other accessories) to electronics to costumes, even the weirdest ones

-Roppongi HIlls: Opened in 2003, Roppongi’s mammoth shopping and entertainment development received more than 49 million visitors in its first year alone. The brainchild of Tokyo property magnate Minoru Mori, Roppongi Hills is an entire mini city – with 200 shops and restaurants, the Grand Hyatt hotel, many private apartment buildings, a multiplex cinema, a TV studio and the colossal Mori Tower, which is topped by the excellent Mori Art Museum and Tokyo City View observation deck.

- Pretty interesting. Played a significant role in the unification of Japan in the 16th century. There's a couple moats n' shit if I remember correctly lol


Tea House Houshou-an

In one quiet corner of the Nishi no Maru Garden is a genuine tea house. It's a wooden, one-story building with cypress roof thatching built in the traditional "sukiya" style used for tea-ceremony arbors. It has three available tea rooms: a hiroma (traditionally a room bigger than 4.5 tatami mats), a koma (a room smaller than 4.5 tatami mats), and a ritsureiseki (the largest of the three).

1. Shinjuku is entertaining,

-Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building -Free Observation Deck- 45th Floor Observation decks which provide beautiful sunset views and a chance to spot Mt Fuji.

-Dug Jazz Bar (From the 1960's)

-Beams Japan- Flagship store collection of Japan made clothing, crafts, are, a gallery, restaurant and coffee shop.

-Zoetrope- Rare whisky while watching vintage films


2. Shibuya is youthful.

Center Gai, is lined with trendy fashion stores and boutiques, but it is the iconic Shibuya 109 building that sees gaggles of giggling teens going ga-ga over the latest kogul and ganguro subculture fashion.Shibuya is also home to the busiest pedestrian crossing in the world and a perfect spot to take a token tourist snap.


4. Harajuku is alternative.

-Cat Street is a pedestrian thoroughfare filled with more high-end street fashion boutiques and Omotesando is a tree-lined avenue often referred to as the Champs-Elysées of Tokyo. Harajuku is also next to Yoyogi Park, in which you'll find the Meiji Shrine.


5: GINZA is high-end. (high end area of Tokyo, great restaurants located on rooftops and fantastic high end shopping )

6: Asakusa has history.

-SENSO-JI - Tokyo may not have as many temples as Kyoto, but Senso-ji isn't the city's most popular temple just by default. In the year 628—according to legend—two brothers fished a statue of the goddess of mercy, Kannon, from the Sumida River. Senso-ji was built in Asakusa as tribute, although the


ASAKUSA DISTRICT: The Asakusa district is as colourful as it is historic. First established as an entertainment hub during the Edo period, today it continues that tradition and is home to cinemas, the Nakamise shopping street with its traditional goods, souvenirs and snacks, and various temples.
