As a Travel Blogger and Social Media Creator,  I  am passionate about writing, reviewing, and lending my personal tips in all aspects of life. I share fun things to do, the best places to stay, and vegetarian-friendly restaurants all along the way in Japan and on my travels throughout the world.  I am highly into fashion and beauty products and love to show what gets me on my way from every trip, to everyday life.

AmericanGirlInTokyo is a TRAVEL and LIFESTYLE blog with a focus on my most favorite aspects of living in Japan, South Korea, and my adventures throughout the world. This Blog along with my social media accounts are my own personal outlets for creative expression and a place to share my outlook on the world with followers who are Interested In my unique ex-pat perspective.

I grew up in Connecticut and then moved to New York City for 10 incredible years while also attending LIM College for Fashion and Business, receiving a Bachelors's Degree in Business. I eventually found myself in Hospitality Marketing for hotels, restaurants, and nightclubs all across the US which first led to my love of travel.  

In 2016, after getting married to my husband Travis, we moved to Seoul, South Korea for his job with the PGA TOUR and lived there for two and a half years. In Seoul, I joined a women's charity organization called Seoul International Women's Association where I became the Sponsorship Chair helping to gain corporate donations for support and backing of community help groups. I also assisted in hosting fundraising events and galas and it really became something I was very passionate about.

We have now been living in Tokyo, Japan since March of 2019 and have been exploring this incredible country and beyond. I have gotten the opportunity to travel to beautiful prefectures, venture on one-of-a-kind experiences, and stay at stunning hotels and resorts all across Japan. As the world opens up again, I am back to seeking adventures in other parts of the world and sharing my experiences along the way.
